Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albino Estefan kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mburucuyá's goalkeeper Nicasio Confesor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edelmiro Leizarraga's late challenge caught a Chaján's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. Edelmiro Leizarraga hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Chaján's Raul Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Urdaspal during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Chaján got a freekick which was hit by Dante Urdaspal. Ceferino Darien's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Elorri firmly grabbed it by the left post. During the 29th minute of the match Edelmiro Leizarraga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edelmiro Leizarraga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 29th match minute, Mburucuyá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Angel Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Confesor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Luciano Elazar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mburucuyá's Nicasio Confesor. Nicasio Confesor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mburucuyá booed when Chaján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Elazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Confesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Elazar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 minutes, Saul Artizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mburucuyá and the Chaján players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Mburucuyá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Artizar to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Gomez made a kick off. Nicasio Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ceferino Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernando Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Gomez in the 65th minute of play forced Mburucuyá's goalkeeper Nicasio Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Albino Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Luciano Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaján's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Confesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Estefan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Saul Artizar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saul Artizar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 73rd minute, Saul Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luciano Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mburucuyá's zone, Raul Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Confesor came out of the goal and Raul Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mburucuyá's Nicasio Confesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mburucuyá from getting a goal against them. When Luciano Elazar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Chaján fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Elazar couldn't finish the play. Raul Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Confesor having to interfere.
