Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chaján's Raul Gomez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Elazar got free with Hector Fernanco in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Raul Gomez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hector Fernanco, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Chaján booed when ToroÑoño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chaján's Angel Domingues tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes ToroÑoño got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Pacorro. Hector Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Raul Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hector Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Elazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Elazar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 played minutes ToroÑoño got a freekick which was hit by Juan Brion. A collision led to Chaján getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Raul Gomez hit a great ball. Arnaldo Liher scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Elorri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Gomez spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ToroÑoño's goal. 61 minutes into the match, ToroÑoño's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Elazar came free, but Hector Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fernando Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Gilberto Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaján and the ToroÑoño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Chaján got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Beti. Juan Goi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fernando Elorri made a huge save. When Juan Goi came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ToroÑoño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Goi couldn't finish the play. Hector Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, ToroÑoño's Basilio Quilo got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Luciano Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
