Pericotes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Veto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genaro Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Primeiro in the 17th minute of play. Genaro Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Genaro Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Primeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sabin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Primeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Turugun AFC's Genaro Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Veto in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Turugun AFC defense, Gustavo Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Sabin. The Turugun AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Sabin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Veto in the 40th minute of play forced Turugun AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaias Abastas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Sabin. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Genaro Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gustavo Primeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sabin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Veto got free with Genaro Sabin in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Primeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genaro Sabin came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo Primeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 75th minute. Genaro Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Primeiro in the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gregorio Veto could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Genaro Sabin however easily saved by the left post. Gustavo Primeiro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Genaro Sabin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pericotes. If Gregorio Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
