Domingo Beninos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Manuel Fernanco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th match minute, Neder FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Igon to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th match minute, Cóndor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Arce to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Aurre in the 25th minute of play. If Tobias Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Neder FC's goalkeeper Manuel Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Benino. In the 46th minute, Cóndor AFC's Zeledon Pitin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zeledon Pitin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cóndor AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zeledon Pitin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Esteban Veto had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Haroldo Henry's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Sandaili made a kick off. Oscar Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Neder FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Benino came free, but Manuel Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Sandaili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Veto made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Edelmiro Aurre sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th match minute, Cóndor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Arce to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Aurre got free with Esteban Veto in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Esteban Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Neder FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
