Dario Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Pacorro in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Cosme getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leo Cordarius hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Amador Pabla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Ferrando was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Dario Ferrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Pacorro's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Cosme were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Hondo made a kick off. A collision led to Cosme getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Leo Cordarius hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Cristian Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ICHO CRUZ Compañía Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosme the free kick. The supporters of Cosme booed when ICHO CRUZ Compañía Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Pabla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Dario Ferrando 77 minutes into the match. When Leo Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cosme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Cordarius couldn't finish the play. Amador Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Ferrando having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Ciriaco Pacorro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cosme eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
