Vicente Estebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Seclantás defense, Cristian Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Estebe. The Seclantás fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Estebe should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Erubiel Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vicente Estebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Ritchie hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Serafino Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adolfo Havier fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elisa AFC's protests and gave Adolfo Havier a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Havier hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gabriel Ferdinand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Erruki having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Seclantás's Gabriel Ferdinand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Erruki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erubiel Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Estebe having to interfere. Vicente Estebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Cristian Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Elisa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Luis Ritchie got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 33 played minutes Elisa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Ritchie. Faustino Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vicente Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Erubiel Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Estebe having to interfere. Erubiel Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Ferdinand to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Faustino Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Adolfo Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elisa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Havier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Alvaro Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Estebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Alonso in the 62nd minute. Adolfo Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Estebe having to interfere. A collision led to Seclantás getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guillermo Lertxun hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Alonso got free with Vicente Estebe in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Estebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Alonso went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Erubiel Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Adolfo Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elisa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Estebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Benicio Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Estebe having to interfere. If Adolfo Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Seclantás's Javier Jurgi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Ruy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erubiel Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Elisa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Alonso couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Elisa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Ruy came free, but Freddy Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Elisa AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seclantás throughout the match.
