After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Osvaldo Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Hanot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Hanot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Osvaldo Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ildefonso Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapso's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute of the match Javier Virila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Montrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Romulo Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ildefonso Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almona FC's goalkeeper Juan Montrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tapso's zone, Osvaldo Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Hanot came out of the goal and Osvaldo Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Firme was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 35 minutes, Anselmo Txanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapso and the Almona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Almona FC booed when Tapso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Almona FC's Leonel Lizar tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Osvaldo Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Almona FC's zone, Dario Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Montrell came out of the goal and Dario Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Cutberto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapso's goalkeeper Jacobo Hanot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Firme in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Osvaldo Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Osvaldo Hanot came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Almona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Hanot couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Palos got free with Juan Montrell in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Palos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Montrell. Juan Montrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Tapso getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anselmo Txanton hit a great ball. Osvaldo Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 76 in the game by Dario Palos from a close distance when the talented Juan Montrell managed to make a qualified save. Almona FC's players were relieved. Juan Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Cutberto in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Tapso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Almona FC's Leonel Lizar tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anselmo Txanton got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anselmo Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Isidoro Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Isidoro Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dario Palos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tapso fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Almona FC booed when Tapso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tapso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
