Aristides Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Feliberto Natal made a huge save. Ciriaco Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ramones's zone, Americo Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Otoniel came out of the goal and Americo Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Emanuel Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ruben Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Oinatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Otoniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Americo Eneko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
