Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chilecito's Pedro Gaitano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chilecito's Denis Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Estevon in the 12th minute of play. When Hernan Estevon came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Totoral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Estevon couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Estevon in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Cresitobalo saved Chilecito from getting behind. Serafin Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Chilecito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. Angel Calisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Totoral got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Estevon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Estevon was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Totoral booed when Chilecito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Calisto having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chilecito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
