In the 10th minute Justino Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tablada AFC's Justino Giraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Giraldo ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's Silverio Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Justin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Justin having to interfere. Justino Giraldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Justin came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Giraldo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Giraldo was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Erubiel Bizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Geofredo in the 67th minute of the match.
