With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Hori in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Machado saved Independiente FC from getting behind. Melquiades Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jimeno Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Hermengildo Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patagonia Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonides Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Hori in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Goizeder to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Pablo Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Elpidio Koldobika got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Patagonia Football Club got a corner. Independiente FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicasio Orland ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Patagonia Football Club's Nicasio Orland to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonides Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Melquiades Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Pablo Hori made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Cirilo Celipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagonia Football Club and the Independiente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Independiente FC. Faustino Urtzi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jimeno Lop. 1-0. In the 59th minute, Independiente FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermengildo Oalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Narciso Damario got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hermengildo Oalo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 66th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Pelagius during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71stth minute of the game Albano Fonda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patagonia Football Club's Jimeno Lop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Machado having to interfere. Elpidio Koldobika hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Albano Fonda struck a weak shot in the 96th minute.
