The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blas Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Innocenzio having to interfere. Amador Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gaudencio Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Laprida AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nicasio Etxahun hit a great ball. Benito Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Laprida AFC booed when Ñoqueve AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Hanni struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gaudencio Leizarraga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñoqueve AFC. Gaudencio Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Bernal in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Laprida AFC's Nicasio Perico got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Fausto Javiar came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ñoqueve AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Javiar couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Pirro charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Pirro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ñoqueve AFC booed when Laprida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nunez Innocenzio made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Blas Atauri sent off a good shot on target. Nunez Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Perico in the 57th minute of play. Blas Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ñoqueve AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fausto Javiar hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ñoqueve AFC's Nunez Innocenzio got control of the ball when Blas Atauri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nunez Innocenzio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Blas Atauri sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Ñoqueve AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laprida AFC:s goal. It was a brilliant solo performance by Laprida AFC's Nicasio Etxahun when he shot the ball into the net to 0-1 in the 78th minute. Blas Atauris short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Nunez Innocenzio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emiliano Lizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nunez Innocenzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Lizer ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaudencio Leizarraga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Bernal's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Ñoqueve AFC's Nunez Innocenzio got control of the ball when Blas Atauri tried to sneak it across the goal line.
