Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Geofredo started the match with the kick off. Lucio Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Hugo Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Gorbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Nayely in the 9th minute of the match. Mateo Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eleuterio Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Pereyra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Nayely in the 23rd minute of play forced Quilinquil's goalkeeper Filomeno Gorbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Gaskon hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 25 minutes in the game, Rene Pereyra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eleuterio Gonza having to interfere. Rene Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gonza having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quilinquil's Domingo Bras got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Eduardo Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mateo Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Quilinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Ladio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Iriarte's zone, Mateo Ladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Gonza came out of the goal and Mateo Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mateo Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Ladio got free with Eleuterio Gonza in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filomeno Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Pereyra to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Gorbea came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Iriarte's Hugo Nayely. But to his dismay, Hugo Nayely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute, Mateo Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Gorbea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Nayely in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Eduardo Oinatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Gonza. Iriarte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Oinatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Ladio in the 78th minute of play forced Iriarte's goalkeeper Eleuterio Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quilinquil's Filomeno Gorbea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Quilinquil from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Iriarte's Benito Geofredo in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Filomeno Gorbea was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Quilinquil through an amazing save. Rene Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gonza having to interfere. In the 91st minute Mateo Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Iriarte's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Oinatz came free, but Eleuterio Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Oinatz took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Gonza. Eleuterio Gonza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
