The audience was convinced that Mateo Ladio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Garaona was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mateo Ladio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Apolo Garaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Ladio's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Filomeno Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Mateo Ladio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosetti's Apolo Garaona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Rosetti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rene Pereyra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosetti's goalkeeper Apolo Garaona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Adan Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosetti's protests and gave Adan Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Honorato Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Guib made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jose Gimenez. Eduardo Oinatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Apolo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Cucao in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Domingo Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute Rene Pereyra suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 99 minutes, Teofilo Cedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosetti and the Quilinquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rosetti's Teofilo Cedro got a free kick in the 100th minute. Rosetti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Quilinquil had controlled the match.
