Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Naelio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guaberto Abecia charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Abecia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Suripujio FC booed when Achaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Cipriano Naelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Naelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Atauri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Naelio ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Naelio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Atauri. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Cipriano Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Natalio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Dalmacio Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Atauri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cipriano Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Achaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Naelio couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Suripujio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Gerazan came free, but Natalio Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Atauri made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cipriano Naelio sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Achaval booed when Suripujio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Polo in the 35th minute of play forced Achaval's goalkeeper Anacleto Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Fausto Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ascencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Naelio in the 42nd minute of play forced Suripujio FC's goalkeeper Natalio Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achaval's Damaso Omero got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 48 minutes, Dalmacio Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Gerazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Stephen made the kick off in the second half. Suripujio FC's Natalio Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bixintxo in the 53rd minute of play. Ciriaco Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Suripujio FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vladimiro Stephen hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Suripujio FC's goalkeeper Natalio Atauri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Atauri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Naelio's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Cipriano Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Cipriano Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Suripujio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Naelio came free, but Natalio Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Gerazan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Atauri having to make a save. In the 80th minute Cipriano Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Atauri having to interfere. If Cipriano Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Achaval's Cipriano Naelio, in the 86th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Achaval. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Naelio in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Atauri saved Suripujio FC from getting behind. Natalio Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
