Ghetto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Ignatius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Xabat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Irrintzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Matteo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Evaristo Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghetto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tosquitas the free kick. Jacobo Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Matteo having to interfere. If Benito Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Xabat having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Vasco during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44thth minute of the game Felix Urti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tosquitas's Denis Xabat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Manuel Lico was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. Manuel Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Tosquitas's Denis Xabat got control of the ball when Felix Urti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Xabat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Ignatius's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Felix Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Denis Xabat managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Ghetto FC's Felix Urti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anibal Matteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Sal went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The nice shot from Felix Urti in the 84thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Denis Xabat had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 91 minutes, Enrique Tajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghetto FC and the Tosquitas players grew even worse after the yellow card.
