With a little luck, Maradona FC's Rosendo Balendin got control of the ball when Aureliano Chayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cactaca's Tobias Ibañez got a free kick in the 30th minute. Agustin Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Maradona FC's Rosendo Balendin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Maradona FC from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Balendin having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Maradona FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Gora. Rosendo Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ibañez in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Matteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Inautzi's late challenge caught a Cactaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Inautzi helped the player get up and apologised. Casimiro Inautzi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rosendo Balendin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Primo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Lázaro Burni fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maradona FC's protests and gave Lázaro Burni a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Burni hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Aureliano Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aureliano Chayo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cactaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Chayo couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rosendo Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Tiburcio Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Severino Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Ikatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Maradona FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cactaca from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
