Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cecilio Firme took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Osvaldo James came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vasco Da Gama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo James couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Hori's late challenge caught a Olain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Hori helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olain booed when Vasco Da Gama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olain's Cecilio Firme in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Nesor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Iker Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Venancio Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Olain defense, Paulo Lertxun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Calvet. The Olain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Calvet should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Venancio Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasco Da Gama's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Calvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the game, Elpidio Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasco Da Gama the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Olain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Cecilio Firme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasco Da Gama's Clemente Nesor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Cecilio Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Firme in the 69th minute of play forced Vasco Da Gama's goalkeeper Clemente Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Cutberto in the 74th minute of the match. Cecilio Firme scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Marcial Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Vasco Da Gama's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Firme came free, but Clemente Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Marcial Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olain had won after a very even match.
