After 6 played minutes Cruz de Brasil F.C got a freekick which was hit by Amador Gai. Nicasio Pello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cruz de Brasil F.C's Rafael Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Sayvion hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cristo Azeari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Lixandro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Escoya booed when Cruz de Brasil F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Cristo Azeari notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Escoya's Rogelio Lixandro. Rogelio Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jesus Bernard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Araoz went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Azeari got free with Rogelio Lixandro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Cruz de Brasil F.C's Rogelio Lixandro threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Ignado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 79 minutes into the match, Escoya's goalkeeper Rogelio Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Azeari. After 80 minutes of play, Escoya's Carlos Ondino made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Bernard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rogelio Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Cruz de Brasil F.C were awarded a corner. Rosendo Fonda went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Escoya's zone, Cristo Azeari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Lixandro came out of the goal and Cristo Azeari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
