Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Ignado got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Cruz de Brasil F.C's goalkeeper Jesus Bernard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Larpe. Zeledon Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eloy Eskuin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Melchor Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Bernard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Cruz de Brasil F.C's Carmelo Blanco got a free kick in the 18th minute. DEMOLEDORES FC's Candido Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Bartoli in the 26th minute of play. Melchor Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jesus Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Frisco during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes DEMOLEDORES FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Frisco. In the 36th minute, Rosendo Fonda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DEMOLEDORES FC's Zeledon Guib didn't even have to move. After 38 played minutes DEMOLEDORES FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Vasco. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rafael Ignado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruz de Brasil F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Ignado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zeledon Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Bartoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesus Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Bartoli in the 52nd minute of play. If Rafael Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Bartoli scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesus Bernard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Melchor Bartoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Bernard. Cruz de Brasil F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Bartoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When DEMOLEDORES FC's Melchor Bartoli in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cruz de Brasil F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DEMOLEDORES FC's zone, Rafael Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Guib came out of the goal and Rafael Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesus Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Cristo Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Bartoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Bernard having to interfere. Melchor Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Larpe in the 95th minute of play. If Saturnino Frisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruz de Brasil F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
