The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Soviet de Malvinas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguaditas AFC:s goal. Adolfo Nuxila had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Nereo Quexal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Adolfo Nuxila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Tirso in the 24th minute of the match. Soviet de Malvinas's Adolfo Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Bernebe in the 25th minute of play. Adolfo Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Tirso in the 27th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Melchor Bernebe made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Soviet de Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Casado to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Soviet de Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Bernebe came free, but Adolfo Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maximino Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Bernebe couldn't finish the play. Albano Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximino Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguaditas AFC's Maximino Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Polo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Albano Baudelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Nereo Quexal led 95 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Soviet de Malvinas's Adolfo Nuxila became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
