In the 9th minute Filiberto Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, TRICOLOR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Cefero came free, but Feliberto Turi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Urtsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Ralondo in the 14th minute. A collision led to TRICOLOR FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gaudencio Balasi hit a great ball. Filiberto Pio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Feliberto Turi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guqueri AFC. 24 minutes into the match, Guqueri AFC's Filiberto Pio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Turi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Guqueri AFC booed when TRICOLOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Guqueri AFC's goalkeeper Octavio Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Ralondo. Basilio Claris kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Gaudencio Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Turi having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Balasi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Filiberto Pio made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Turi. TRICOLOR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. TRICOLOR FC's Gaudencio Balasi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guqueri AFC's Jonas Mark got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Ralondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Urtsin was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Gaudencio Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Guqueri AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Checa. When Clodoveo Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the TRICOLOR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Ralondo couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Balasi in the 93rd minute of the match. TRICOLOR FC's Feliberto Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cefero in the 94th minute of play. The Guqueri AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
