Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barranqueras's Arturo Ubarna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feliberto Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Aristides Vitin managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Barranqueras's Ramiro Gaueko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, Feliberto Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Mateo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Arturo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aristides Vitin to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th match minute, Suyuque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Suyuque FC! When Arturo Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Barranqueras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Ubarna couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Feliberto Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliberto Lluis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ramiro Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Suyuque FC. Astor Iruinea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Primitivo Mateo. 2-2. Suyuque FC's Ruperto Primeiro managed to work through Barranqueras's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ruperto Primeiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 68 minutes into the game, Ramiro Gaueko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aristides Vitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Barranqueras's Narciso Bastian got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ruperto Primeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Mateo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Primeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Lluis in the 75th minute of play forced Barranqueras's goalkeeper Primitivo Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Ramiro Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Suyuque FC's zone, Arturo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Vitin came out of the goal and Arturo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes, Barranqueras's Eustaquio Jaunzuria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Vitin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barranqueras reached it. If Arturo Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Joseph hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Barranqueras's Arturo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Suyuque FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barranqueras.
