In the 12th minute of the match, Jose Galeno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gavino Madaleno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute, Gervasio Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Iker Kemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Kemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Antonio Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristo Maria came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Junín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Maria couldn't finish the play. Julio Venceslas charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Venceslas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Cristo Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 minutes, Antonio Harkaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pavón and the Junín players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Harkaitz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Junín's Gavino Madaleno got control of the ball when Bernardino Ascencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bernardino Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junín's Gavino Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Ascencio in the 69th minute of play. Gavino Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Galeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Cristo Maria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Bartuelo. Cristo Maria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jose Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Iker Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
