Severino Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Ostargi in the 9th minute of play. Eustacio Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Severino Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Maniacos were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Oxigeno FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosme Pirro took the corner. The corner ended in Cosme Pirro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Oxigeno FC's Severino Tono did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Maniacos's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Erlantz came free, but Paulo Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ursino having to interfere. Eustacio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Ostargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eustacio Ostargi sped through Oxigeno FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Tono. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ostargi in the 46th minute of play forced Oxigeno FC's goalkeeper Severino Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Ostargi was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maniacos's Paulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Aureo in the 59th minute of play. Eustacio Ostargi struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Severino Tono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maniacos. Eustacio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Ostargi in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Tono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maniacos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Oxigeno FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
