Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leandro Fernendo started the match with the kick off. When Leopoldo Bero fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mansilla's protests and gave Leopoldo Bero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mansilla's Leopoldo Bero got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Lázaro Odol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Odol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Urritz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Fernendo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mansilla's Cristobal Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Senen in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cirilo Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mansilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Iztal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Rocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Atilano Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Gitano during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Lázaro Odol made the kick off in the second half. Mansilla were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Manchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Tolino took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Odol in the 68th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Matias Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lázaro Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lázaro Odol came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mansilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Odol couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Cirilo Iztal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Matias Rocio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Mansilla's Remigio Gitano got a free kick in the 86th minute. Leandro Fernendo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Manchester United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Atilano Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cristobal Urritz made a huge save. Atilano Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Urritz having to interfere. The Manchester United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
