The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marco Rio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Serafin Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfredo Mendebal fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casas's protests and gave Alfredo Mendebal a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Casas got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Mendebal. In the 20th minute of the match Elpidio Argi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Abascal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bonifacio Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Herrera in the 23rd minute of play. Marco Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ernesto Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felix Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Herrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Birila having to make a save. CHACO es de FOR EVER's Bonifacio Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Herrera in the 41st minute of play. Sebastian Errolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Goito struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bonifacio Birila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casas. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Romo to make the kick off. Sebastian Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ernesto Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serafin Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Birila having to interfere. Nicasio Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Birila made a huge save. Nicasio Herrera scored 0-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Birila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Herrera got free with Bonifacio Birila in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Abascal having to interfere. Sebastian Errolan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ernesto Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Elpidio Argi, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Felix Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Birila having to interfere. Bonifacio Birila made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nicasio Herrera sent off a good shot on target. The Casas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
