Aaron Abascal was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Bordenave's Hugo Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Txurio in the 39th minute of play. Ovidio Cordarin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Hugo Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pirata FC. Hugo Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Cordarin in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Ovidio Cordarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Leheren. Bordenave's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Cordarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Txurio made a kick off. Lisandro Confesor scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Abascal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Ovidio Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pirata FC's goalkeeper Aaron Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Hugo Leheren made a huge save. Ovidio Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Leheren having to interfere. Serafin Xabel hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Iker Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Pirata FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bordenave.
