In the 33rd match minute, Puelches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Egun to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Vladimiro Cordeal in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Aureliano Tibalt's left hand side. The audience was convinced that Delmar Vasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Tibalt was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Benedicto Urtsua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Tibalt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Ticho was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Corderun having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Salvador Beremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Ticho in the 58th minute of play forced Unquillo's goalkeeper Arnoldo Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Melquiades Gonsalve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Tibalt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmar Vasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 76 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Unquillo's Leo Lohitzun got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gonzalo Egun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Beremundo in the 84th minute of play forced Unquillo's goalkeeper Arnoldo Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Unquillo's Fabian Inocente got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Salvador Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Vasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Tibalt having to make a save. Benedicto Urtsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Vasco in the 93rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
