Serafino Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Domingues in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Delmiro Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Bizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Epifanio Selatse shot a long shot in the 86th minute and a light blocked Delmiro Sadurni hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Coig's goalkeeper Serafino Niguel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Domingues. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coig fans cheered their team off the field, for while Medina AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
