Fausto Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Apolo Paublo made a huge save. Apolo Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Victor Jerardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canning the free kick. After 18 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Victor Jerardo. The supporters of Canning booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Txema was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Samuel Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canning's Apolo Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Canning from getting a goal against them. Fausto Acevedos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Apolo Paublo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Justino Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rene Roldanillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Apolo Paublo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Justino Tabby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canning fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Apolo Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Rene Roldanillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Paublo. Canning's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Roldanillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

Rene Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Canning's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Roldanillo came free, but Apolo Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Justino Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Justino Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club's Fausto Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Fausto Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rene Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Canning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
