In the 22nd minute Leonardo Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oliden AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rafael Martinez hit a great ball. The supporters of Embarcación FC booed when Oliden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Isias, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Embarcación FC's Patricio Asier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Izotz couldn't finish the play. In the last second Basilio Abreu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Freddy Kaiet in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Embarcación FC's Leonardo Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patricio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 81st minute, Marcial Frantzes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oliden AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 85th minute, Leonardo Izotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Cebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Freddy Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Oliden AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Kaiet couldn't finish the play. After 95 played minutes Embarcación FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Xacintu. Marcial Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Abreu having to interfere.
