The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Uriburu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Roldan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Prudencio Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uriburu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Uriburu AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Benigno Ayala hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Jacindo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Tabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Uriburu AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Benigno Ayala hit a great ball. Patricio Bernebe struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Eduardo Tabor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalia FC. Casimiro Jacindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Tabor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Uriburu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Mikolas came free, but Eduardo Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Bernebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Tabor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Bernebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jacindo in the 34th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Lavalia FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Artal. Florentino Llorenc acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnulfo Roldan. After 44 minutes, Patricio Bernebe made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Uriburu AFC's Eduardo Tabor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Prudencio Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lavalia FC's Patricio Bernebe in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
