The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Matthew got free with Carmelo Palos in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Charadai's goalkeeper Carmelo Palos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Matthew. Guido Feo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Faustino Hats charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Hats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Villa Madero's Feliberto Artaldo tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hilario Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Palos having to interfere. In the 25th play minute Hilario Matthew came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carmelo Palos. 1-0. Carolo Bernat hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The Villa Madero fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Villa Madero's Hilario Matthew looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Artaldo in the 33rd minute of play forced Villa Madero's goalkeeper Horacio Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.
The wind increased when Carolo Bernat made the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villa Madero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Constantino Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Bilintx having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Artaldo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carolo Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Horacio Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Madero! Charadai's Carmelo Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Matthew in the 87th minute of play. Faustino Hats hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Villa Madero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliberto Artaldo in the 91st minute. The Charadai supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Charadai would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
