Zuriyaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Satordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Amado George was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesada AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuriyaco FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mesada AFC's zone, Ambrosio Lizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Indar came out of the goal and Ambrosio Lizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alejo Hug charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Hug the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Abadia in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Mesada AFC's Victorino Nahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Cresencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melchor Liberto's late challenge caught a Mesada AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Liberto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mesada AFC booed when Zuriyaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aristides Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuriyaco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
