Pablo Mon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Rutenio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Justo Olivar's late challenge caught a Rauch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Olivar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Naicó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Olivar to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Padro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilario Rutenio. Naicó AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Gines got free with Javier Mendebal in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Rauch's Uriel Serapio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Rutenio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Uriel Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hilario Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Naicó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Serapio came free, but Hilario Rutenio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rauch's zone, Horacio Betadur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Mendebal came out of the goal and Horacio Betadur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Serapio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Naicó AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rauch were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Naicó AFC's Severo Platon got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Rauch's Isaac Padro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Hilario Rutenio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Uriel Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Naicó AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Rutenio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Serapio. In the 76th match minute, Rauch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hilario Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Rutenio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
