Naicó AFC's Hilario Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Estavan in the 10th minute of play. Justo Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Naicó AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rodrigo Gines hit a great ball. Naicó AFC's Hilario Rutenio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Naicó AFC from getting a goal against them. Efrain Tirso got in the 22nd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Hilario Rutenio and thus it was 2-0. Leonel Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Celestino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Rodrigo Gines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpo de Bahia Blanca MZ's Celestino Donio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horacio Betadur hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match.

In the 52nd match minute, Naicó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Abar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca MZ's zone, Rodrigo Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Donio came out of the goal and Rodrigo Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Estavan in the 67th minute of play forced Naicó AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Rutenio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Reynardo's late challenge caught a Olimpo de Bahia Blanca MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Reynardo helped the player get up and apologised. Albino Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Rutenio having to interfere. Hilario Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Chago in the 76th minute of play. Leonel Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Donio having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Naicó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Estavan came free, but Hilario Rutenio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albino Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca MZ could leave the field as winners, despite Naicó AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
