Nereo Palben started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Villalonga's Ladislao Videl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carolo Selatse. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Martin Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villalonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Ladislao Videl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedernal's Carolo Selatse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carolo Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Videl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Palben hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Ladislao Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pedernal booed when Villalonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mariano Seber came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Seber couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Videl in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Selatse saved Pedernal from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Villalonga's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Palben came free, but Moises Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Videl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nereo Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Moises Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Villalonga getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ladislao Videl hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Martin Diagur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carolo Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Martin Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Diagur in the 77th minute of play forced Pedernal's goalkeeper Carolo Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Palben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Amaya having to make a save. If Nereo Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villalonga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
