The Godoy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Jacob should have stopped the shot. Luisito Jaizki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Jacob. Godoy AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Godoy AFC's Leo Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Montay in the 34th minute of play. Tiburcio Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Jacob having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Lore in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Jacob saved Godoy AFC from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Florentino Lore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armstrong AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Saturnino Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Satordi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apolo Nesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
