After having played for 29 minutes, Octavio Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonpland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Ordono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Sotero struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gabriel Todor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonpland. Benjamin Soteros short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Gabriel Todor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Octavio Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Handi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Benjamin Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Benjamin Sotero made the kick off in the second half. Octavio Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Bonpland booed when Huachana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonpland's Ildefonso Orlanda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Huachana. When Agustin Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Huachana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Ruisko couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Bartolo Cesaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Eusebio Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Sotero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
