The audience was convinced that Agustin Ruisko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Montxo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Leo Darien charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Isaias Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Ruisko in the 31st minute of play forced Malutron FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Malutron FC's Elpidio Richie got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Isaias Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Sugar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Malutron FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Montxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Herrera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Silviano in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Todor saved Huachana from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustin Ruisko to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Bartolo Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huachana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malutron FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Huachana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Silviano got free with Gabriel Todor in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Huachana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malutron FC:s goal. The referee gave Malutron FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Atilano Guillelmo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huachana's Gabriel Todor. 0-1. If Carmelo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carmelo Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Todor having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Huachana got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Cesaro. A collision led to Malutron FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Atilano Guillelmo hit a great ball. When Anastasio Handi fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huachana's protests and gave Anastasio Handi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Anastasio Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carmelo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Sugar in the 101st minute of play forced Huachana's goalkeeper Gabriel Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Malutron FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
