Benjamin Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jujuy's zone, Mario Libertad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Rubio came out of the goal and Mario Libertad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Cafferata AFC's Benjamin Rubio threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Libertad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mario Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cafferata AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Libertad couldn't finish the play. Conrado Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Rubio having to interfere. Conrado Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Benjamin Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafferata AFC. In the 18th minute, Cafferata AFC's Mario Libertad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jujuy's Benjamin Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Jujuy from getting a goal against them. When Cafferata AFC's Mario Libertad in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jujuy's goalie prevented a goal. Conrado Cresenciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Rubio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jujuy's goalkeeper Benjamin Rubio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The wind increased when Mario Libertad made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Cresenciano came free, but Benjamin Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Milian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Atarratze in the 58th minute of the match. Benjamin Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Libertad in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Rubio saved Jujuy from getting behind. Conrado Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Rubio having to interfere. Benjamin Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rami came free, but Benjamin Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mario Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jujuy's Benjamin Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Feliz in the 72nd minute of play. The Cafferata AFC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Cafferata AFC's Conrado Cresenciano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mario Libertad might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Libertad ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Libertad struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Benjamin Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafferata AFC. In the 86th minute Reynaldo Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Rubio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Libertad went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Cresenciano in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Rubio saved Jujuy from getting behind. After some careless play in the Jujuy defense, Norberto Bieito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Rubio. The Jujuy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Rubio should have stopped the shot.
