Ruben Clemencin started the match with the kick off. Celso Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Santos Tulio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Ricart skillfully saved the ball. After 18 played minutes Pura Sangre got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Nahia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Oihan in the 22nd minute of play forced Pura Sangre's goalkeeper Casimiro Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Tino having to interfere. Ruben Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Pio might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Pio ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Pura Sangre booed when MAZORQUEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Pura Sangre fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Pura Sangre's Bernardo Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to MAZORQUEROS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Arturo Montrell hit a great ball. Bernardo Santana struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Zeledon Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pura Sangre. Casimiro Ricart was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Fabio Cresconio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabio Cresconio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Armando Kusko charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Kusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Armando Kusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes, Amancio Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZORQUEROS and the Pura Sangre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 71 minutes, Amancio Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAZORQUEROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Oihan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pura Sangre's goalkeeper Casimiro Ricart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerardo Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Gavino Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Tino having to interfere. The MAZORQUEROS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pura Sangre from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
