The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ignacio Garaile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amancio Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yofré AFC's Celso Marko got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Rumaldo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ignacio Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isaac Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Munio in the 40th minute of the match. If Amancio Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Marko in the 46th minute of the match. Ramon Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Marko was the one to do the kick off. Casimiro Munio might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Munio ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Perutxo's late challenge caught a jochitano f. c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Perutxo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Casimiro Munio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignacio Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Isaac Aritza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jochitano f. c.. Yofré AFC's Ignacio Garaile got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Celso Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yofré AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Truylos came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Yofré AFC's Celso Marko. But to his dismay, Celso Marko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Isaac Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Munio's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Munio in the 91st minute of play forced Yofré AFC's goalkeeper Isaac Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amancio Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Aritza having to interfere. In the 94th minute Amancio Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
