With his leg Isaac Panpili managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Patriotas Argentinos's Fabian Illart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Independiente's Isaac Panpili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. Luciano Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Feliberto Tadzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, the referee gave Patriotas Argentinos a penalty. Mateo Rodas looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Isaac Panpili. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Patriotas Argentinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ariel Cilio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Independiente's protests and gave Ariel Cilio a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Cilio. Fabian Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Isaac Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Patriotas Argentinos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Higinio Guillelmo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Policarpio to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaac Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Nardo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Ovidio Betadur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Panpili skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Nardo came free, but Isaac Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. Independiente's Isaac Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Illart in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patriotas Argentinos's Sixto Elazar got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Illart in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Panpili saved C.A. Independiente from getting behind. Isaac Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Illart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Patriotas Argentinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Illart to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.A. Independiente getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Celso Lesardo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Elazar in the 96th minute of play forced C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Isaac Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Patriotas Argentinos were the better team. Patriotas Argentinos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
