Sergio Gau came out of the goal and Pastor Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pastor Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gau was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Samuel Cloyo got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sergio Gau handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pastor Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gau having to interfere. When Isaias Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the La Cantera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Cambranes couldn't finish the play. If Isaias Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CHICLETE COM BANANA's Hipolito Urtun got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind CHICLETE COM BANANA's goalkeeper Erasmo Hanni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. La Cantera FC's Isaias Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Freddy Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cantera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Hanni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Cambranes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes CHICLETE COM BANANA got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Venceslao. 55 minutes into the match, CHICLETE COM BANANA's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Cambranes came free, but Erasmo Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Cantera FC's Zeledon Colon got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Freddy Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Freddy Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CHICLETE COM BANANA's Teodoro Txartiko got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Isaias Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cantera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Cambranes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Hanni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Isaias Cambranes sped through CHICLETE COM BANANA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erasmo Hanni. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Pastor Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sergio Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
