Los Pisacocos's Sixto Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Mitxaut in the 12th minute of play. When Rodrigo Acevedo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pisacocos's protests and gave Rodrigo Acevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Pisacocos's Rodrigo Acevedo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sixto Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Los Pisacocos's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Mitxaut came free, but Sixto Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Julian Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Naelio having to interfere. Julian Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Los Pisacocos got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Acevedo. If Lisandro Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. Julian Berbiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Naelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Sixto Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

NEUQUÉN ATL's Julian Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Julian Berbiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Sixto Naelio however easily saved by the left post. Sixto Naelio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lisandro Mitxaut showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. Julian Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Los Pisacocos's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Mitxaut came free, but Sixto Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Mitxaut in the 95th minute of play forced Los Pisacocos's goalkeeper Sixto Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NEUQUÉN ATL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
