Reynaldo Maurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Chosmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Ignado to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Huejeda's Damaso Bela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Maurino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huejeda reached it. Reynaldo Maurino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Azevedo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 16 minutes, Roberto Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huejeda and the Chosmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Sancho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Mauricio Clodio from a close distance when the talented Florentino Mendiko managed to make a qualified save. Huejeda's players were relieved. Roberto Sancho got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Huejeda getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Roberto Sancho hit a great ball. Mauricio Clodio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Florentino Mendiko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Gerardo Garaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chosmes's Reynaldo Maurino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Mendiko having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match Serafino Txindoki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Mendiko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonel Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonel Sauveur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Mendiko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Mauricio Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florentino Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Sauveur in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Sauveur in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florentino Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Clodio in the 47th minute.

In the 51st match minute, Chosmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Chosmes's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Garaona. Filomeno Gaueko charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Gaueko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Huejeda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Leonel Sauveur made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Mendiko. Huejeda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huejeda's goalkeeper Florentino Mendiko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauricio Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Florentino Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huejeda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
