The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Demario in the 3rd minute of the match. Efrain Pelagius walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Gaxan in the 10th minute of play forced Pueblito AFC's goalkeeper Edgardo Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pueblito AFC's Edgardo Dacio got control of the ball when Esteve Favila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pueblito AFC's Edgardo Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Gaxan in the 13th minute of play. When David Toribio fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblito AFC's protests and gave David Toribio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pueblito AFC's David Toribio got a free kick in the 17th minute. Lázaro Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Domeka tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Esteban Fidensio. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 25th minute. Esteban Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Gartzen in the 34th minute of play. Teofilo Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tambillos's Tomás Domeka shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edgardo Dacio but with some difficulty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gervasio Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pueblito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 57 minutes, Teofilo Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gervasio Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Gartzen in the 62nd minute of play. Gervasio Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Esteban Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Demario struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Esteban Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblito AFC. Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Gartzen in the 68th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Ambrosio Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Omar Evis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Dacio skillfully saved the ball. Lázaro Demario might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Fidensio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Demario ran back to his position shaking his head. Esteban Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Gartzen in the 80th minute of play. Edgardo Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Pueblito AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
