If Eustacio Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Apache FC's Angelino Valery dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mariano Fernendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Montrelle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Inocencio Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cantadero's goalkeeper Inocencio Montrelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Fernendo. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apache FC's goalkeeper Raul Urtsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Chayo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cantadero's Leonides Chayo got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apache FC's goalkeeper Raul Urtsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Dabi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apache FC's zone, Melquiades Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Urtsin came out of the goal and Melquiades Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, Apache FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Edwardo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Cantadero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cantadero's Inocencio Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Fernendo in the 67th minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Melquiades Edwardo sped through Apache FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raul Urtsin. Mariano Fernendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Inocencio Montrelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Edwardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Raul Urtsin made a huge save. Melquiades Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Apache FC had won after a very even match.
